So I've been doing a little bit of KSNM-ing lately in a pick-up group that I met during some EXPing. I have been trying for Destroyers, which I didn't get, but managed to get some other cool little trinkets like Senjuinrikio and Dissector. The group seemed pretty cool, they were taking down these KSNMs like no one's business and had been running their group for a long time now (~8 months).

Of course, that was until this last Friday night....

Okay... those of you who've known me for the last 3+ years in the game know that I don't /blist people willy-nilly. Generally speaking, someone has to really be an asshole before I blacklist them. For example, a certain person (Destron) had to use warp scrolls mid-battle and laugh as he warped (without warning, or finding a replacement) in 3 different parties I was in with him before he wound up on my blacklist... Another person (Gooch) had to MPK my friends and I several times, even after being reprimanded by GMs, before I added him... And another person, rank 1 at the time (Pearlblue) had to chase me around the Sarus making fun of the "Galka BLM" for an hour before he wound up on my list...

Q: What's worse than being in a party with a "couple"?

We've all been there before: You just want to level, and level efficiently, but the party your in contains some lovey-dovey, smoochy, distracted couple. Usually this couple started the party "because they want to play together, giggle". These couples generally find themselves distracted with just how fucking much in-love with eachother they are, and this typically means the parties go sluggishly and never get anywhere. Even if the parties do manage to pull-together and you're scoring some good to decent EXP from them, you still have to put up with the irritating couple proclaiming to the virtual world just how much they love eachother via emotes....

{Bibiki Bay} {No thanks}

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I would party in Bibiki Bay, and I liked it. Amazingly high EXP chains off of mobs that tended to be soft and squishy. Our only real concerns were links and the occasional BLM fuck-up that resulted in an Eft or rabbit killing us because he was AoE'd.

Not everyone went to Bibiki Bay, and indeed, since it was a CoP area there were many alternatives people could choose. However, for someone like myself who was sick of Onzozo and disliked Sky, Bibiki Bay was a breath of fresh air.

Jobs I hate

I've been playing FFXI for over 2 years now. I started playing long ago when Sam/Maior first asked everyone while we were playing UT2k4 in voice chat, "Hey, anyone ever played Final Fantasy XI?"

In the 2 years I've been playing, I have found certain jobs who's players consistently piss me off. I really don't know what it is, whether it's that the jobs attract these idiots, or the idiots themselves just happen to be in these jobs when I meet them. All I know, is that I can easily find people in these jobs that I hate.

So, after 2 years of suffering, here is my list of jobs I fucking hate:

Beastmaster
GAH! What the fuck?! Every last BST I've ever met has been some idiot who couldn't hack it in normal parties. Maybe they couldn't do skillchains ("I like it when they just happen lol!") or they couldn't do hate control ("OMFG I CAN DO 1K DMG WITH TORNADO MCXVII! HEY WHY AM I DYING?!"), but somehow all the dumb fucks who just can't "get" the party scene wind up playing BST. Sam keeps telling me that I'm stereotyping and that there are some BSTs out there that are the most knowledgable players on our server, but I haven't met any.
